MTN South Africa is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Customer Service Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. This position will be based remotely in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers via phone, email, and live chat to provide assistance and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize creativity and critical thinking skills to address customer inquiries and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, as well as update account information as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex customer issues.
  • Leverage data to analyze customer trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Meet or exceed performance goals related to customer satisfaction, response times, and resolution rates.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to effectively assist customers.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships.
  • Energetic personality with a positive attitude.
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer service software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
